At Signlyus ("we", "our", or "us"), your privacy is a top priority. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application Signlyus (the "App"), available on iOS and Android.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide

  • Documents & Signatures: The documents you import, the signatures you create and any text or fields you add are stored locally on your device.
  • Contact Information: If you contact us via the contact form, we collect your name, email address and message content.

1.2 Automatically Collected Information

  • Usage Data: Basic anonymous statistics about app usage to help us improve the experience.
  • Device Information: Device type, operating system version and unique identifiers used for analytics and core functionality.

1.3 iCloud Backup

  • If you enable cloud backup, your documents and signatures are stored in your personal iCloud account. We do not have access to this data — it is controlled entirely by Apple and your Apple ID.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide and maintain the App's core functionality (document signing, form filling, scanning, export).
  • To process in-app purchases and subscriptions through the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
  • To respond to your inquiries when you contact us.
  • To improve the App through aggregated and anonymized analytics.

3. Data Storage and Security

Your documents, signatures and personal data are stored locally on your device using secure storage mechanisms. If you enable iCloud backup, data is stored in your personal iCloud account under Apple's security infrastructure.

We do not store your documents or signatures on our servers. Contact form submissions are processed via email and are not stored in any database.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

  • Apple App Store / Google Play: For managing subscriptions and in-app purchases.
  • Apple iCloud: For optional cloud backup of your documents.
  • Expo / React Native: The App is built using the Expo framework.

5. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights:

  • Access: Request a copy of the data we hold about you.
  • Deletion: Since most data is stored locally, you can delete it by removing your documents or uninstalling the App.
  • Data Portability: Export your documents as PDFs at any time.
  • Withdraw Consent: Disable optional features such as iCloud sync at any time from the Settings.

6. Data Retention

Since your data is stored locally on your device, it persists as long as the App is installed. If you uninstall the App, all local data is deleted. iCloud backup data persists in your iCloud account until you manually delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date.
